Fazeley Town Council Election 2007

The Labour party lost control of Fazeley Town Council after a landslide victory of 9 seats to 2 at the Town Council election held on Thursday 3rd May

For the first time for many years the Conservative Party put up 11 candidates in Fazeley, 1 for every seat on the Town Council, and won 9.  Only Fazeley’s former Mayor’s Cllr Tony Brookes and Cllr Jimmy Littlefield held on to stop a whitewash at the polls.  Cllr Lee Bates and Cllr Ian Lewin will sit along side 7 new Conservative Cllrs.
