Fazeley Flies The Flag

Cllr Jimmy Littlefield and Cllr Andrew James raise the flag over Fazeley

The Union flag is flying high and proud in Fazeley after a brand new flagpole was erected in the Town’s Memorial Square.

Fazeley Town Council recently purchased a flagpole as part of its program to modernise the Town Hall and the surrounding area.

Town Mayor, Cllr Andrew James, said, “This is a first for Fazeley to fly the flag in the town centre and I am pleased the Town Council voted for this and I am sure the residents of Fazeley will welcome this addition to the Memorial Square.”

Fazeley’s current Mayor, Cllr Andrew James, was joined by former Town Mayor Cllr Jimmy Littlefield to raise the flag over Fazeley.

The flagpole is next to the Town’s War Memorial and the Town Council plan to fly both the Union and Staffordshire County flag throughout the year.
