Fazeley Will Remember the Fallen on Sunday

Remembrance Sunday 2011

Town Mayor Cllr Rebecca James will lead Fazeley in remembering those who gave their lives in all wars and conflicts on Sunday morning.

22-year-old Cllr James will lay a wreath at the town’s war memorial before leading a parade to St Paul’s Church for the service of remembrance

Cllr James said, “It is an honour to lay the wreath on behalf of everybody in Fazeley and it is also very sobering to think that many of those who gave their lives were the same age as I am today.”

The wreath laying service will take place in Fazeley’s Memorial Square, next to the Town Hall, and will start at 10:30am.
