Fazeley turned out in force today to remember all those who fell, not just in WW1 and WW2 but all conflicts during the last one hundred years.

Rev Hugh Baker lead a short service of remembrance at Fazeley’s war memorial next to the Town Hall and then several wreaths were lawn by both residents and local dignitaries.

Town Mayor, 22-year-old Rebecca James, laid a wreath on behalf of Fazeley, Cllr Bernard Derrick laid a wreath on behalf of Lichfield District Council and Jean Dann, Fazeley Town Council, laid a wreath on behalf of the town’s MP, Christopher Pincher.

Following the short service, the congregation marched along Coleshill Street, which was closed by the local Police, to St Paul’s church for the extended service of remembrance where the two minutes silence was observed at 11am.
