The main hall has been used for many different events over the years including dances, adults and children’s parties, public and private meetings, wedding receptions, carpet sales, variety shows and even wrestling bouts
In 1985, the roof was lowered to try to increase the heating of the room. In 2009 some of the windows were replaced and in 2010 the hall was fully decorated
The current capacity of the main hall is 100 seated and up to 175 standing
